Shipping

Standard orders placed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays, are processed and shipped within two business days. Standard orders placed on holidays or on the weekend are processed and shipped within three business days. Express orders are shipped on the same day, if ordered before 1pm AWST.

Standard shipping times are;

Perth Metro | 2-4 business days

WA Regional | 3-7 business days

Interstate Metro | 3-7 business days

Interstate regional | 6 - 14 business days

Please note delivery times above are provided by Australia Post and are not necessarily guaranteed. You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched, to help you track your items. We use a signature on delivery service to ensure your items reach you safely.

For domestic orders over $200 we are happy to provide free standard shipping if the item is not heavy, bulky or fragile. For these items, you will have to select "Heavy/Bulky Goods Shipping" from the options available. Please check product descriptions to see if an item is classed as heavy or bulky. 

If you need your purchase in a hurry you can select express shipping at the checkout. Please be aware that Australia Post only offers next day service within the Perth metro area. For interstate or regional WA, express postage will take 2-4 business days from dispatch. If you would like express shipping on an item that is bulky, heavy or fragile please get in touch and we will arrange a shipping quote for you.

Please note we are unable to deliver to your post office boxes or parcel lockers so please keep this in mind and provide a proper postal address when placing your order.

International Customers

We welcome overseas customers. If you are based outside of Australia and would like to make a purchase, please get in touch with us at hello@objectunion.com.au. Tell us which items you are interested in and your delivery address, and we will do our best to provide you with a shipping quote and approximate delivery time as soon as possible. 

Please note, you may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your international order. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.

FREE SHIPPING EXCLUSIONS

  • Free shipping does not apply where objects are heavy, extremely fragile or bulky, even if they exceed the $200 threshold This is always clearly laid out in the product page of any product that does not qualify for free shipping. In these cases, courier charges will apply and will contact you after your order is placed to discuss shipping charges.

  • A heavy item is anything that weighs more than 5kg.

  • A bulky item is anything that cannot be packed into a cubic box measuring 50 x 50 x 50cm on its own. This includes lightweight objects weighing less than 5kg. If your complete order exceeds $200 and contains other smaller items, the exclusion only applies to the bulky item. Other items will qualify for free shipping.

  • Fragile items are items that are delicate and can break easily and therefore need to be insured against damage during transit.

RETURNS

When purchasing from our website, please choose carefully as we do not provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.

This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it

  • is unsafe

  • is significantly different from the sample or description

  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Please make sure to keep your proof of purchase so we are able to process a return if necessary. Please allow 14-21 business days from the time you mail your order for your return to be processed.

Please note: Most of the items we stock are handmade and will have handmade characteristics. These are not faults and their uniqueness is to be embraced. These characteristics cannot be used as the basis for a refund.
